In cooperation with the "architectural office-Beyer" a "senior village" in the town center of Zwenkau is planned. The integration of old people into our society is very important and means one of the challenges of our time. During the development, the comfortable equipment of living quarters is seen as most important. A special offer in the central residential building is a nursing service which offers its service to all inhabitants, including the ones in the 8 detached houses. These 8 detached houses are a retirement home for married couples. The planned development scheme integrates the "senior village" in the city area harmoniously, but takes also nature and environmental aspects into consideration. It is a new approach of the integration of old people and a new living structure in our society.
